Star Group- Veterans Helping Veterans President Mr. Jonathan Haywood attended the Temple VA National Salute to veterans. Mr. Haywood took the opportunity to speak with and have a photo op with Thomas C. Smith, III, FACHE, Director of The Central Texas Veterans Health Care System (CTVHCS) ,Mr. Bobby Zimmerman (Chief, Temple Texas VA Voluntary Services), DaNae Couch (Miss Texas 2012) and Ms. Cheryl Hassmann (Constituent Liaison to Congressman John R. Carter 31st District of Texas) and other Veterans Organization that were present.
Ms. DaNae Couch (Miss Texas 2012) joined the leadership from the Central Texas Veterans Health Care System (CTVHCS), community leaders, Soldiers from Fort Hood, Star Group- Veterans Helping Veterans and other Veterans organizations, and area students in honoring Veterans 14 February 2013 as part of VA’s National Salute to Veterans, all participants visited patients, staff as they shook hands, gave hugs and smiled, bringing joy to all who came in contact with them.
Star Group-VHV was delighted to take part in such an Outstanding Event that uplifted our name Veterans Helping Veterans in that all who took part truly
touched our veterans hearts and soul. A JOB WELL DONE.
Miss Texas 2012 DaNae Couch took time out her busy itinery to autograph a picture that will be displayed in the new SG-VHV headquarter's at 202 South 4th
Street in Copperas Cove, Tx.
